Mission

Epic Hot Tubs & Swim Spas describes itself as an outdoor experience improvement store. It helps North Carolina homeowners turn the space they have into a place to relax, exercise, and spend time together, with hot tubs, swim spas, saunas, cold plunges, and pools chosen to fit each home and budget.

Unique Value Proposition

Most spa stores carry a single brand. Epic's showrooms carry several, with Wellis and Dynasty hot tubs and swim spas alongside Finnleo saunas, so shoppers can compare build quality, features, and pricing side by side instead of taking one brand's word for it.

Pricing is clear: hot tub and swim spa prices include a cover, cover lifter, steps, and starter chemicals, with free local delivery when the home qualifies. 0% O.A.C. options are available; ask a showroom for current terms.

Core Values

• Owners helping owners. The team are hot tub owners themselves and use that experience to help customers choose the right fit, not just make a sale.
• Straight answers. Bring questions, backyard measurements, or a photo of the space, and get clear answers on what fits and what it costs, with no pressure.
• Support after the sale. An in-house service department handles repairs and water care, so the people who sold the spa stand behind it.
• Local ownership. Epic is locally owned and takes the time to get to know each customer and their needs.

Brand Story

The company began as Custom Backyard Spaces and renamed itself Epic Hot Tubs as it grew. On October 7, 2022, the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce joined the team for a ribbon cutting at the new Raleigh showroom on Wake Forest Road. New Raleigh and Durham showrooms were followed by Sanford, South Charlotte in Pineville, and North Charlotte in Cornelius, for five North Carolina showrooms today.

Richard Horvath is the Owner and President. The business is led by people who own hot tubs and swim spas themselves, and its consultants bring experience from across the pool and spa industry.
